Imogen's Wedding Revisited........

Today I received some lovely images from Imogen's wedding.  She kindly sent me four pictures showcasing the accessories she commissioned.  Here they are........

the happy couple - love the groom's funky tie

close up of hair corsage

love this photograph - so relaxed

Imogen's beautiful vintage wedding dress

I love the informality of modern wedding photographs, they seem to capture special little moments of the day.  They seem such a lovely couple don't they?

p.s I spoke to my mother about my father's letters, she would love me to read them to her.........
until next time .. Jayne xx

    2. Well, but in the midst of house chaos....having some ideas put into operation and wondering if they are working????!!!! Hoping white paint will do the job as all looking very different (cosmetic changes, stairs/ceilings/floor due to need for a new boiler which led to need for new floor, when old one wrecked etc etc etc.....like that old song about when the gas men came!!!!)
Still loving your blog and beautiful work...must get round to doing SOMETHING design wise myself after house painting and completing current OU modules weekly work!!:-)
All building work has uncovered masses of old linen, crochet, fabrics as well as all my degree work..............what to do with it all?

  3. Hello Dear Jayne
What gorgeous gorgeous wedding photos - certainly my more simple style of a wedding - just like my own was!
Your corsage was just perfect for Imagen and her accessories matched perfectly.
Sorry I missed your priceless last post - Oh such precious memories all tied up on those amazing love letters written by your father and the photos too are real keepsakes!
I'm really looking forward to hearing your next post or whenever it is after reading those letters to your mother.
How special it all is for you both and particularly for her after 50 years.
Thank you for sharing such a very personal and heart rendering post Jayne.
    Hugs,
    Suzy
PS Thanks kindly for your comments on the Victorian lace pieces.

    1. I know, I love to handwrite with my fountain pen. A friend and I write to each other even though we only live a few miles away from each other. There is something so special about receiving, opening and reading a letter. jayne x
